Snode Cast Iron Dumbbell Stand

Well built sturdy makes it easy to grab weights and not have to bend all the time. I would recommend snode give an option to add wheels. I ordered wheels that fit the m8 screw thread with stoppers which make it easy to roll in a confined space to make room to workout and clean around weights provided they are so heavy.

I purchased the stand for my AD80 and I’m glad I purchased it. It is much easier lifting the weights off the rack then off the floor especially when I’m lifting 60 plus pounds.

This stand is sturdy and well built and strong enough to hold the weight of these dumb bells. Key points below;

I bought this stand in unison with the AD80 dumbbells and I am very pleased. It is sturdy and makes changing weight on the dumbbells easier and more efficient. The stand also reduces the risk of back injury as you are not constantly bending over to adjust the weight or pick it up from the floor.

Investing in the weights men’s you have to be committed to using them. The stand makes it even easier. I would not buy these without the stand. Great, durable design!

I saw the modified dumbbell rack by Coop on IG, and I plan to modify it to fit my Pepins. The main work is on the four support heads of the dumbbell rack. I am still looking for the right material. Compared with other brands, Snode is thicker and more stable, and the design is more reasonable. My back and waist will definitely thank me!

Great product! Feels just like real dumbbells in the hand. The clincher for me in choosing snode is the quality of the solid cradle and rack. Investment for sure, but well worth the money!

I purchased my AD80 and S-Stand at the beginning of February and shipping and delivery went smooth. Packages arrived within a day of each other in great shape. I was concerned at first that the AD80’s had been reengineered to allow greater tolerance for the purpose of smoother racking at the expense of a loose feel during movement (clanking together). There were several reviews indicating that the AD80’s were solid feeling so I was holding my breath. I can say that yes there is play in the dumbbell, however it doesn’t bother me as much as I thought it would. The feel of the AD80 is great, the handle size (L & W) and knurl are awesome and feel great in hand. The weight dial mechanism is great and works flawlessly. When I preform movements that don’t require the additional 5# magnets, the process is so quick and smooth. Though I have to be honest, the magnets are tedious, it’s a chore that kills time between sets and a process I find myself trying to avoid especially at the higher weight adjustments when I would rather just carry the weight to the rack and be done. The magnets require the weight to go the the floor first…if the change weights could go interior that would be best and alleviate this hassle (or even better, make a system with 5# increments). I have found that I avoid ending my set on a 5# increment for this reason, whereas I’d like to not have to alter my workout to accommodate a limitation in the design of my equipment.

Finally, the warranty…the 360 32” drop guarantee/warranty is something that factored into my purchase. The 2 year time frame for warranty is great too (why not just make it 5yr or lifetime?) Be confident and stand by your product, especially if you want the feeling to be mutual with your customers! The correspondence I received with my AD80 made no mention of the drop clause and states only a one year warranty on parts and craftsmanship. This was a direct contradiction with what your website has indicated. I would like some confirmation from SNODE that they will hold true to the two years and perhaps even get it in writing, since the only document I have says differently!

Barring those issues, I’ve used my AD80’s now for several weeks and I am happy with them. I may look to move away from the magnets so racking is made less of a hassle.

Furthermore, the S-Stand is great! Good product that works well. I bought casters instead of using the feet provided and it has made it mobile. The casters weren’t cheap, but the are really nice and adjustable. No issues there, the engineering team got that right!

I love my Snode dumbbells. They are overbuilt and indestructible and I love all of that. The 10lb increments don't really bother me. I bought the magnets to add on the additional 2.5 or 5 lbs between the 10 lbs increments but find myself never really using them. Just the smallest click and boom you have increased the weight. They also just look good. No regrets on my purchase.

There was a sale going on when I purchased the adjustable dumbbells and the cast iron stand. The sale included a free steel stand with the purchase of the dumbbells. I chose to get the cast iron stand instead because of the better design of it. It allows you to step between the dumbbells when you go to pick them up - less bending forward. There was only one thing that I had an issue with. There are 4 brackets that secure each dumbbell cradle onto the cast iron stand. One of the 8 brackets was shaped in such a way that it did not clamp down on the cradle. I solved the problem with a metal washer. Just put it in the gap between the bracket and the cradle and tighten the bolt.

Couldn’t be happier with these dumbells, and the cast iron rack. Well built, easy to use. The closest to regular dumbells that I have found. No issues with the 10 lb increments, but I did purchase the weight plates just in case. And they can also be used on my Hoist V4 weight stack if needed. The order shipped in 2 business days and arrived in 5. Well packed, easy to assemble. Buy these. There is no downside to them.
